Role Summary
The Learning Coordinator will support the Magna Training Center team in administering training events including in class training as well as digital learning initiatives.
The Learning Coordinator will support the full-cycle of administering training events from scheduling to evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize training events
- Analyze, track and report training outcomes (conduct needs analysis, draft KPI reports)
- Create and send out communication documents regarding upcoming training events
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to assigned trainers both internal and external
- Logistical support for all events (book rooms, equipment, material, catering and certificates)
- Carry-out the administrative tasks pertaining to pre-training, day of training and post-training (reconcile expenses, enter data and invoicing)
- LMS Administration
- Create learning courses; programs and curricula in the LMS
- Consult with Global MTCs to implement best learning practices
- Manage testing of new courses and programs
- Track usage of eLearning through the LMS
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to courses, programs and curriculums
- Run reports and perform analytics
- Create and manage Assignment Profiles for learning content
- Support, train and troubleshoot with local / divisional and group learning administrators
Key Qualifications / Requirements
Knowledge and Education
- College diploma or equivalent
- Adult education or HR background considered an asset
Work Experience
Entry level
Skills and Competencies
- LMS Administration knowledge and understanding (preferably SuccessFactors)
- Technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of current learning technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills essential
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team player
- Ability to multi-task and manage several priorities at once
- Experience with Articulate and virtual platforms is an asset
Work Environment

- No travel
