YOUR ROLE
The Category Development Manager will play a key role providing Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing and Shelving recommendations to the Canadian Sales Team while forging strong cross-functional partnerships Sales, Commercial Strategy and Marketing teams to identify opportunities and develop customer-centric selling
A self-starter with an innovative, analytical, solution -oriented, strategic mindset to evaluate and identify Category and Customer growth opportunities while offering a clear point of view leveraging syndicated marketplace
An expert storyteller interpreting POS, loyalty, and shopper data to develop best-in-class Category
Provides adhoc Sales support of presentation development identifying strategic account opportunities including space to sales analytics and ability to influence through fact-based
Ad-hoc reporting with headquarter and Division / Team
Educates and disseminates HQ strategic information (brand & insights), studies and analyses, to Team and Account with market
Builds relationships with North American and Global Shopper Category Development Team to leverage and share best demonstrated
YOUR SKILLS

- 5+ years of experience in Category Management (or related roles) within consumer products industry with manufacturer or syndicated data Previous customer facing experience is an
