Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Graduate of an accreditedschool of Radiologic Technology.
Licenses / Certification :
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Supportrequired
- Current license or temporary licenseby the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRTR) required
Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
- Ability to liftand / or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order toperform job functions

PrincipalAccountabilities :
- Performsradiography (xray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with allradiation safety procedures.
- Enters andmonitors patient data.
- Performs qualityassurance on radiology equipment.
- May assistwith initial and renewal application for ACR and otheraccreditation.
- Identifies and reports anyaccidents complaints or equipment malfunction to departmentmanagement.
- Takes emergency call within thedepartment. May be required to work weekends and float to otherlocations as needed.
- May administer breathalcohol test and / or urine drug screens.
- May berequired to perform patient registration tasks such as verifyinginsurance collecting payments etc.
- Ensuressafe care to patients staff and visitors; adheres to all MemorialHermann policies procedures and standards within budgetaryspecifications including time management supply managementproductivity and quality of service.
- Promotesindividual professional growth and development by meetingrequirements for mandatory / continuing education and skillscompetency;
supports departmentbased goals which contribute to thesuccess of the organization.
