Minimum Qualifications :

Education : Graduate of an accreditedschool of Radiologic Technology.

Licenses / Certification :

• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Supportrequired
• Current license or temporary licenseby the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRTR) required

Experience / Knowledge / Skills :

• Ability to liftand / or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order toperform job functions

PrincipalAccountabilities :

• Performsradiography (xray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with allradiation safety procedures.
• Enters andmonitors patient data.
• Performs qualityassurance on radiology equipment.
• May assistwith initial and renewal application for ACR and otheraccreditation.
• Identifies and reports anyaccidents complaints or equipment malfunction to departmentmanagement.
• Takes emergency call within thedepartment. May be required to work weekends and float to otherlocations as needed.
• May administer breathalcohol test and / or urine drug screens.
• May berequired to perform patient registration tasks such as verifyinginsurance collecting payments etc.
• Ensuressafe care to patients staff and visitors; adheres to all MemorialHermann policies procedures and standards within budgetaryspecifications including time management supply managementproductivity and quality of service.
• Promotesindividual professional growth and development by meetingrequirements for mandatory / continuing education and skillscompetency;

supports departmentbased goals which contribute to thesuccess of the organization.
