Patient Care Coordinator

BioPed Footcare has been providing custom made orthotics and foot care solutions for over 40 years across Canada. With 65 locations, our highly trained Certified Canadian Pedorthists assess, design, and manufacture custom made orthotics in our on-site labs, allowing fast turnaround times and immediate adjustments.
We also provide fashionable orthotic friendly footwear, footwear modifications, compression stockings, OTC braces and custom knee braces.
Our goal is to create a total patient care experience by providing customized and complete foot and lower limb care solutions.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator at BioPed Footcare located in Toronto, ON. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, care coordination, patient care, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Qualifications
- Appointment scheduling and phone etiquette skills
- Experience in care coordination and patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Nursing or equivalent is an asset
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset
