We are seeking an Office Services Clerk / Receptionist to join our Waterloo office. This opportunity is a 12-month contract with possibility of extension .

The Office Services Clerk / Receptionist is part of the Office Services team, delivering an exceptional client experience.

Working as a key member of this busy team, the successful candidate demonstrates initiative, a can do attitude, strong communication and organization skills, and a desire to work in and promote a client-first focused culture.

Contributing to the wider Office Services team along with work hour flexibility to accommodate business needs will be required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Welcoming clients in a professional manner and ensuring that the visitor experience is positive and consistent with the Firm’s service standards and values
  • Promptly answering external and internal calls and directing them as required in a timely fashion
  • Managing the security card program for employees and visitors
  • Managing the boardroom booking process reserving boardrooms as requested, including all relevant information; providing communication to requestors appropriately;

assisting with boardroom set up as required

  • Acting as point of contact for Emergency Procedures
  • Performing other related duties as required, and providing clerical or administrative support as requested

What you'll bring :

  • Community College education or equivalent combination of work experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a receptionist position
  • Experience gained in the hospitality sector considered an asset
  • Excellent MS Office skills and comfortable with AV technology is an asset
  • Proven experience in a detail oriented and deadline driven environment
  • Strong work ethic, can-do approach and positive team attitude
