Our client is a diversified mining company primarily looking to hire a Lead Infrastructure Support

About the Opportunity

The current incumbent got promoted as a Manager IT with a different business unit.

The role will be focusing on providing daily Windows and network infrastructure support by managing various tickets for desktop, infrastructure, server, working on multiple infra projects and team leadership.

They acquired a new company in Vancouver, so this person will be responsible for designing and implementing the Windows servers, network and setting up AWS environment.

All of their applications are based on AWS cloud and the services they use are VPS, EC2, S3 AWS backup IAM, storage gateway.

This person would also need to have good working knowledge of network and infrastructure security.

In addition, they are undergoing SAP S4 / HANA implementation on a global scale.

About You

Min 5 years of experience with leading a team (coaching, mentorship, training)

Strong experience working in Windows environment server management

Working knowledge of Network connectivity WLAN / internet, managing IPs, Subnet, VLAN, etc

Understanding of infra security

Exp with virtualization VMWare or Hyper V

VOIP phone system

AWS cloud infrastructure VPS, EC2, S3 AWS backup IAM, storage gateway

Nice to Haves : Azure or GCP

Azure or GCP

Mining industry experience

Salary Range

$130,000 / year
