We are supporting one of our customers, a leader in the distribution sector, in its search for a Warehouse Team Leader.Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, the Team Leader will play a key role in supporting the management team in planning and organizing the daily operations of the department.
ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Organization : Assess field operations, define priorities and allocate team members according to shift operational needs.
Productivity : Ensure team operational productivity and support team members in achieving performance objectives.Safety : Promote OHS standards and ensure a safe working environment for the team.
Equipment Maintenance : Ensure that equipment inspections are carried out by workers and that mechanical problems are resolved promptly.
Training and Development : Identify distributor training needs and propose opportunities for improvement.Pallet Management : Ensure that all pallets sent for distribution are scanned.
Error Analysis : Analyze distribution error reports and pass on information to the appropriate people.Coordination : Collaborate with the central aisle department to ensure pallets are distributed according to the FIFO method.
Pallet truck management : Coordinate the use of pallet trucks.
