About the role
The Senior Support Analyst in this position will be responsible to support and manage all systems running the Windows operating system.
They will also contribute to new upcoming projects and play a functional role in mentoring other team members, while sharing off-hour support responsibilities.
What you’ll be working on
- Setup and configure mainly Windows Servers
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to system hardware, software and networking.
- Collaborates with L3 team to implement system updates for environment stability.
- Continuously review and report capacity status on all windows servers
- Develop and document procedures for routine system administration.
- Performs daily security monitoring.
- Assist the Security team with planning and coordinating the implementation of security measures.
- Manage and support the following Microsoft Windows services :
- File / Print / DFS
- DHCP / DNS / Site GPOs
- Exchange, ActiveSync
- Active Directory
- Various Application Servers
- Microsoft Clustering
- IIS and supporting web services (SSL, Load balancers)
- Manage and support the following platforms :
VMWare
Citrix (XenApp, Netscaler)
Palo Alto
Anti-Virus
Archiving
Perform other duties as required.
We’re looking for someone with
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences
- 10+ years of experience with network and systems administration with a focus on Windows products
- 10+ years of experience with Active Directory in a large organization (multi-domain, multi-site)
- Strong networking skills
- Scripting languages (VBScript, powershell )
- Strong experience with virtualized environments (VMware)
- Strong experience with email systems and email routing (Exchange)
- Technical Certificates with Microsoft and VMWare.
- Experience with installing and / or managing Citrix XenApp (latest version)
- Experience with installing and / or managing Linux is a plus
