You will be part of a team working on a range of next generation solutions for public fixed-route transit. You will work on a variety of development tasks in a growing organization and focus on cross-team support of modern web / cloud-based solutions / products.
You will participate in cross-functional teamwork such as design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and defining specifications.
As a Senior Software Developer at Trapeze MPS, you will :
- Lead the design and development of new features, unit and integration tests, bug fixes, and enhancement of existing code.
- Hands-on involvement in development, design, architecture, and code review
- Apply principles and methodologies of scrum agile development practices.
- Maintain regular communication with other team members and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely product deliveries.
- Ensure that technical and quality standards are applied throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform daily code reviews for other team members who work on the same project.
- Document and test to ensure the quality of the completed work requirement.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing applications and develop strategies to improve the systems in place.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
REQUIREMENTS :
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering Science or equivalent
- Must have 5+ Years of experience in front-end web development.
- An in-depth understanding of Angular 2+ / Typescript, RxJS, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS is a must.
- Knowledge of web components is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical design.
- Ability to conduct thorough code reviews and provide valuable feedback to other developers.
- Experience working with Back-end technologies (.NET / C#, Web APIs) is an asset.
- Exposure to DevOps CI / CD processes / frameworks is an asset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong belief in Leadership and accountability.
