Solutions Architect | SA Role in Top Canadian Bank
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect ( 14+ years of experience in IT) with expertise in Java, Spring Boot Rest Api, Node.
js Server less APIs, Microservices, AWS, OpenShift, and Angular for our banking team in Canada. As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that align with the bank's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications using Java Spring Boot and Node.js.
- Leverage AWS services to design cloud-native applications and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage containerized applications on OpenShift to support our microservices architecture.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications.
- Lead and mentor development teams in best practices and design principles.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the software development process.
- Work closely with front-end developers on Angular-based user interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards within the banking industry.
Required Skills :
- Proven experience with Java Spring Boot micro services and Node.js API's .
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, and S3.
- Expertise in containerization and experience with OpenShift.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, particularly Angular.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in the Canadian banking industry is highly desirable.
Job Type : Fixed term contract
Contract length : 6 months
Salary : $90.00-$110.00 per hour

Applicants must be Canadian PR holders or citizens, the job is located in Downtown Toronto, and it follows a hybrid model with two days in the office weekly.
