Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Hairstylist / Hairdresser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a range of services, including but not limited to braiding, cornrows, twists, dreadlocks, colouring, cutting, trimming, and extension installation.
While proficiency in all areas is not required, candidates should have a strong foundation in salon-related skills and be willing to learn and expand their expertise.

Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including braiding, cornrows, twists, dreadlocks, coloring, cutting, trimming, and extension installation
- Consult with clients to understand their hairstyle preferences and provide recommendations based on their hair type and condition
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in work areas and tools
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for at-home maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling
- Assist with retail sales of hair care products and accessories
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns or questions in a professional manner
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining client records
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a hairstylist / hairdresser
- Proficiency in a variety of hair styling techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends and techniques
