Job Title : Residential Construction Project Manager / Coordinator

Location : Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia

Position Overview :

KTK Real Estate Services LTD. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Manager / Coordinator to lead the successful execution of residential construction projects from inception to completion.

This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in the Canadian residential construction market and demonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while fostering seamless communication between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, developers, and architects to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Prepare, organize, and manage all necessary project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, building regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Manage procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain detailed project records and ensure regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator in the residential construction industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the Canadian residential construction market.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing client relations and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with AI-driven project management tools and software.
  • Strong background in procurement, with experience in cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale residential construction projects within the Canadian market.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Salary : CAD $20 - $30 per hour, based on experience.

Work Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday (with weekend availability as needed)
  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
