Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Night Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a team of 20-25 warehouse associates for an aftermarket automotive parts distributor.

This role involves delegating tasks, training, coaching, and implementing corrective actions to resolve daily operational issues.

You will be responsible for scheduling shifts and working closely with the warehouse manager to plan and execute daily warehouse operations.

Additionally, you will set goals for your team, address internal issues, and ensure health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 20-25 warehouse associates.
• Delegate tasks and train, coach, and direct staff.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
• Schedule shifts and departments.
• Collaborate with the warehouse manager to plan daily operations.
• Set and achieve team goals.
• Address internal issues and health and safety concerns.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of experience supervising teams of 15+ people.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience scheduling shifts and delegating tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
• Automotive warehouse experience.
• Supply chain knowledge.
• SAP and Warehouse Management System experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Education in logistics or inventory.

Work Environment

Our 150,000 square foot warehouse operates with 80 employees per shift. This outbound warehouse stores prepped parts for delivery to wholesalers and clients, functioning similarly to a 3PL.

The facility features 20-foot racks, forklifts, CB, and order pickers. The role requires working from 11pm-7am, Sunday through Thursday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mississauga, Ontario.
