Realist AI, an industry leader in data and cloud solutions, is seeking an experienced GCP Solution Architect to join our growing team.

We are looking for a visionary professional with a passion for designing and implementing comprehensive, scalable solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging their deep understanding of data engineering principles and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Design : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and architect end-to-end solutions on GCP.
• Drive Implementation : Guide and mentor data engineers in the implementation of data pipelines, architectures, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the overall solution design.
• Optimize for Performance & Cost : Continuously evaluate and optimize solution performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness on GCP.
• Evangelize Best Practices : Champion GCP best practices and industry standards for data engineering, cloud architecture, and solution development.
• Bridge Business and Technology : Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in architecting and delivering complex data solutions, with at least 3 years on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modelling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Deep expertise in GCP services, such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub / Sub, and related data processing and analytics tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and CI / CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for data engineering or cloud development (e.g., Python, Java).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Google Cloud Professional Architect certification or equivalent experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
