ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform project management duties for complex ITprojects including those involving AI solutions in accordance withPMLC and SDLC processes. These objectives include :
Perform daytoday management of all project phases toensure deliverables are completed on time and budget. Coordinateall project activities with IT project team members and businessowners / stakeholders.
Track performance against objectives anddevelop corrective strategies when objectives are not being met.
Create manage and update project charters schedulesrisk management plans communication plans project budgets gatereviews and all other project management documentation.
Work with project team members and management to secure resourcesand funding.
Coordinate closely with projectstakeholders to define project scopes and schedules. Collaboratewith these stakeholders to understand business needs processes anddata sources.
Work with business analysts and architects totranslate these business needs into clearly documented detailedrequirements and functional specifications.
Provideregular status updates and maintain relevant metrics to providetransparency on team performance.
Communicate withexecutive leadership to provide project risk analysis status andrequirements that may impact strategic direction.
Stayabreast of AI trends and advancements evaluating their potentialimpact and application within ongoing and future projects.
Ensure that projects comply with audit requirements.
Identify and coordinate crossproject dependencies.
Perform additional projects and assignments asneeded.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of project management experience for application and dataintegration projects.
Detailed knowledge of projectmanagement and software development life cycle methodologies.
Proven experience managing midsized to large ITintegration projects independently.
Background inCommercial Insurance desired.
Strong communication andfacilitation skills with an ability to effectively managecrossfunctional team discussions.
Strong managementskills with an ability to achieve results in a matrix managementenvironment.
Ability to translate business needs intoIT deliverables.
Possess the ability to successfullyapply waterfall agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Multidisciplinary information technology familiaritywith proven systems deployment experience.
Experienceusing Project and Portfolio Management tools (MS Project PlanviewSharePoint etc.).
