Machine Operator, Pullbore Kubota Materials Canada Corporation
KMC specializes in high-performance alloys and friction materials from raw materials to finished products under one roof in Orillia, Canada.
Manufacturing unique heat resistant alloys and high nickel / chrome alloys primarily for the petrochemical industries, Kubota leads the industry in quality and advanced technology.
Major Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to :
Responsible for the safe operation of Pullbore and associated machines in the department.
- Ensure safe set up and operation of Pull Bore Machines and other associated machines and equipment.
- Ensure a safe environment for workers, staff and visitors.
- Maintain accurate record of required information on operator work sheets by heat numbers.
- Wear all required PPE while completing tasks.
- Ensure work areas comply with proper housekeeping and safety procedures at all times.
- Follow routing instructions to ISO standards.
- Record required information on operator work sheets by heat numbers.
- Advise supervisor of defective equipment and parts without delay.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education, Experience & Qualifications :
- Minimum Grade 12 education required.
- Prior machining experience required
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Ability to use and read measuring devices including verniers and micrometers
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet production deadlines
Hourly Wage Rate :
$30.46 / hour (Current 2024 rate)
Shift Premium
Second Shift 3pm 11pm : $1.15
Third Shift 11pm 7am : $1.40
