Job Title : General Production Worker - Pool Laborer

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for handling and moving spools of cardboard off machines, feeding the machines, and assisting with setting up various sections on the machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.

You will obtain orders, verify stock specifications and conditions, monitor box quality, and report any quality problems.

Additionally, you will be responsible for removing excess cardboard and cleaning around the work area. Optional training on forklift operations is available, leading to a forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Remove excess cardboard and clean around the work area.

Essential Skills

• 1.5 years+ experience as a Machine Operator / Production Worker in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possession of a forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in production line operations.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment at room temperature, typically in teams of 2-3 people per shift, where communication is important.

The work schedule follows a rotating continental shift : Days : 6am-6pm, Nights : 6pm-6am, with 84 hours biweekly and some overtime.

The rotation includes various combinations of days and nights, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
