YOUR ROLE :
As a legal assistant in litigation, you will work as a team with professionals in their mandates.
Among your responsibilities, your tasks will include
- Preparing standard civil litigation procedures;
- Transcribing dictations;
- Maintaining the lawyers' agenda and following up on deadlines;
- Reviewing documents and correspondence for compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage;
- Proofreading, editing and formatting documents;
- Manage contentious deadlines, perform calculations and scheduling;
- Prepare, edit and follow up on correspondence;
- Prepare client files (correspondence, supporting documents, etc.);
- Prepare client files (correspondence, vouchers, etc.); Open, file physically and electronically, follow up and organize files.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Experience as a legal assistant in litigation;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Impeccable customer service;
- Team player and good interpersonal skills;
- Versatility, flexibility and attention to detail.
