Position Details :

Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities :
The Pharmacy Manager / Store Operator is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies.
- Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)
- Promotes the Neighbourly brand through publishing, presenting, and participation in the industry
- associations to improve brand awareness.
- Follow and promote the Neighbourly policy manual to inspire a working environment that attracts and retains talented, committed, and engaged employees
- Initiate care plans, follow up, and document.
- Administer vaccines.
- Determine the appropriateness of drug therapy.
- Monitor medication adherence.
- Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
- Recommend OTC products and vitamins.
- Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
- Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.

Qualifications & Skills :
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred), however, open to speaking with those interested in pursuing the next step in their Pharmacist journey to become a manager!
- Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business
- Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff
- Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-directed and able to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
