The School Registered Behavioral Therapist provides specialized behavioral support and interventions for students with behavioral challenges.
This role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' behavioral and academic success.

Responsibilities :
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of behavioral issues.
Analyze assessment data to develop targeted behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Develop and implement individualized BIPs.
Use evidence-based techniques to support positive behavior changes.
Monitor and adjust intervention plans based on student progress.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate behavioral strategies into the classroom.
Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students' behavioral needs.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team meetings.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
Prepare reports and documentation required for IEPs and other school records.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding behavioral services.
Report to the building principal or special education coordinator.
Interact daily with students, school staff, and parents.
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and / or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license
Strong assessment and intervention skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
