Interior Design Salesperson

What you’ll do :

The Salesperson will seek service excellence by providing knowledgeable and friendly sales advice to customers; will complete the sale and follow through on all transactions;

and will provide cross-department support by assisting with furniture and appliance placement and / or displays, building furniture, housekeeping, and other tasks.

The Salesperson will exemplify and promote the Co-op brand.

The Salesperson will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

• Enjoy ongoing development and learning new products and features
• Understanding and passion for home fashion trends and solid understanding of interior design.
• Are driven to achieve sales targets and goals
• Are able to efficiently work in a variety of computer programs, including data-bases, Word, Excel, Google Docs, Email, Internet.
• Enjoy some level of physical work with some heavy lifting / moving (up to 40lbs). Although not the focus of the job, moving furniture and appliances in the showroom is a common task and expected as part of the role to create beautiful furniture displays.
• Have strong English communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Are available for day shifts, some evening shifts and a rotation of Saturdays.

Qualifications :

• Sales experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Proven ability as a self-starter and assertive.
