Position DescriptionAbout Our CampSilver Lake is a traditional, overnight summer camp, situated on a acre site overlooking a private lake, just outside Kincardine, ON.
For more than 50 years, Silver Lake has been providing fun, caring and inspiring experiences for campers and staff alike.
We offer programming for children ages 6-18, and host 60-70 campers per session. Our Mission at Silver Lake Camp is to share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ, making Christ central to all aspects of our programs, whether worship or play;
seeking to set an example that embodies the value of personal faith in Christ, the importance of community, and commitment to God’s world.

are enthusiastic, excited to try new things, and enjoy working outdoors; and are ready to grow their leadership capacity, all while sharing the love of Christ.
If this sounds like you, then we encourage you to consider becoming a part of our team!About the PositionPosition Overview : The Maintenance person is responsible for keeping Silver Lake’s site and equipment safe, clean and operational.
They work with the Camp Directors to ensure the preservation and development of the site. Duties include, but are not limited to, lawn care, general repairs, work projects, and sanitation.
When not performing their Maintenance tasks, they assist with camp programming and activities.Dates of Employment : June 14, August 26, (full-time;
on-site accommodation provided)Salary : $ / weekPosition requirements : Minimum 17 years of age (by Dec. 31 of the year of employment).
Experience in and enjoy working with children.Basic maintenance and repair skills.Experience using basic tools and lawn-care equipment.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.Positive attitude and flexibility.Standard First Aid and CPR-CMust hold a G2-class driver’s license or above.
