Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups
- Perform data mappings, reverse engineering, documenting as-is flows, performing gap analysis and elicit requirements to support to-be end state
- Produce requirements documents Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modelling, Business Process Mapping, Business Context Diagraming, High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalogue, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping and Requirements traceability
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standard
- Work closely with Product Owner and Scrum Master to prioritize, write user stories, groom product and sprint backlog with the team
Here's What You Need
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role within Insurance industry
- Relevant undergraduate degree and / or post-graduate education in Business Analysis
- Experienced in facilitating and collaborating with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements
- Expert in performing data mappings, reverse engineering, gap analysis, documenting as-is and to-be flows and requirements, understanding of business objectives
- Advanced level of requirements analysis and documentation skills Problem Opportunity Analysis, Scope Modelling, Business Process Mapping, Business Context Diagraming
- Advanced experience in preparing High-level and Detailed Requirements, Use Cases & Scenarios, Business Rules & Data Catalogue, User Stories, Story Decomposition, Story Mapping, Requirements traceability and non-functional requirements
- Excellent communication, active-listening, relationship-building, self-management, proactive, team-player, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Certification in Business Analysis - CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, is nice to have
- Bilingualism (French and English - required) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues
- Knowledge of development methodologies - Agile, BI, SDLC, SCRUM, Kanban
- Experience is required on Jira and or Confluence
