The Role
Be an integral member of Cameco’s Technical Services team, striving to bring the multiple benefits of nuclear energy to the world, by finding the next generation of uranium deposits.

In this role, you will :
- You will assist the Technical Services Technical Assurance and Mineral Reserves team and interact with Operations and other engineering personnel.
- Assist with a variety of special projects and day-to-day activities involving mineral reserve and resource estimation processes.
Tasks may include generation of exploration targets, monitoring of exploration programs, field data collection, review or analysis, and other estimation type support such as modelling, analysis of different methods, database and supporting documentation management.
Required :
- You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student in geology, geological engineering or a related science.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication, computer, data analysis and compilation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
- Travel to site by aircraft may be required.
Other Assets :
- Previous experience with exploration or in a mine geology work environment.
- Knowledge of JMP, mining software packages, acQuire databases or a background in statistics.
