Firefighter Rescue Tech

Haztech has a greatopportunity for fulltime Firefighters / ERT tojoin our team for a longterm project in Saskatchewan . Applicants must have the validcertificates listed under the Qualificationssection

Please note that this is campbasedrole and it requires the fulltime ERTs to work two weekon and two week off rotations. All travel from Saskatoon is coveredas well as all meals andaccommodations.

Responsibilities

As a member of Haztech’sERT team you will respond to emergency situations to protect peoplethe environment and property from all types of accidents andemergencies.

Responsibilities include the useof skills and expertise in fire rope rescue confined space rescueand medical emergencies.

You will inspect and monitor confinedspaces work at heights as required and ensure rescue fire and EMSequipment is inspected and maintained.

As a member of the ERT teamyou will also create and review site rescue and fire plans and rundrills and training.

All safety procedures must befollowed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderlyenvironment. The goal with this role is to optimize emergencyresponse plans and procedures and succeed in producing reliable andimportant results that can be used to keep project personnel andthe local community safe.

The chosen individual will performthis diverse range of activities with a focus on safetyprofessionalism and teamwork.
