Recreation Leader (Adult Programming)

Join Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) as a Recreation Leader helping adult members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans and their families enhance their mental, social, physical, financial and familial well‑being. In this role you will design, teach, and lead a variety of recreational activities—arts and crafts, fitness and wellness, performing arts, sports and outdoor adventure—across a range of programs from weekly classes to day camps. Your efforts will foster skill development, healthy lifestyles, and social connections within our community.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities for adults, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
• Design recreational programs that meet the unique needs of the Armed Forces community.
• Teach and facilitate individuals and groups, enhancing participant skill levels and confidence.
• Maintain program equipment and facilities in good.attributes;
• Apply safety protocols and emergencyուրդ procedures during all activities.

Other Information : Perform moderate lifting (10–50 lbs). Mandatory Vulnerable Sector Check. On‑site position with an assigned work location. Minimum age 18 years.
