Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Job Description The Strategic Sourcing Analyst manages RFx's, suppliers, and collects and analyzes data related to the products and services of the company.

The Analyst will develop insight and expertise in the categories managed over time. - Strategic Sourcing : Supports the team in the procurement of goods and services for technology, travel, fleet, MRO, and facilities to ensure they are in line with the Global Procurement policy.

• Leads and supports sourcing projects through a formalized process. - Supports the development of category strategies and partners with key stakeholders to review policies and procedures related to sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Supports indirect cost reduction by negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings. - Manages the RFx's process utilizing eProcurement tools.
• Develops new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive. - Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
• Supplier Management : Facilitates supplier relationship and performance reviews to guarantee accomplishments of the business need.
• Collaborates with Business Units to influence supplier engagement. - Reviews supplier reporting to validate contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA)s are being met.
• Reviews and monitors supplier issues. - Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3- 5 years of procurement related experience required
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
• Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
• Must be detail oriented and comfortable working on your own initiative
• Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Familiarity with eSourcing and e-buying tools, SharePoint
• Analysis and Problem Solving - Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
• Team work - Ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and key stakeholders. To influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
