Full stack Java developer

Overview :

We are looking for full stack Java Developers for a contract opportunity within Financial / banking sector located in Montreal with 3 days in the office model.

This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a complex area of bank operations right from the start of a multi-year project.

Responsibilities :

• in a small, growing team to design and develop the new funds transfer pricing solution.
• directly with business analysts and users to understand requirements and deliver strategic technical solutions.
• in all phases of agile development, from design to implementation, including story estimation and testing.
• within an agile framework to produce high-quality code and maintain development standards.
• to the continuous improvement and convergence on best practices across the broader technology group.

Must-Have :

• degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• least 3 years of experience in Java development.
• in Java 11 or later.
• with Java testing libraries (JUnit).
• with Spring Framework.
• of Git, relational databases, and SQL.
• of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization principles.

Nice-to-Have :

• with Python.
• with Java 17.
• development skills in React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• with Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence).
• of CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, Kibana).
• with Cloudera Data Platform tools, HDFS, Hive, Spark.
• of Drools rules engine or similar.
