Schedule : Monday to Friday, day shift 8 : 00am 4 : 00pm

What We’ll Accomplish Together
The Occupational Health Nurse provides casual coverage at various remote worksite Occupational Health (OH) Clinics in BC, providing health services to the client's employees.
Coverage may be requested to cover vacation or unplanned absence, or for periodic surge staffing needs in the OH setting.
What You’ll Do
- Prevent, maintain, and consult on treatment for employee illness and injuries by providing a broad range of occupational health care services, including : Fit-for-work examinations Spirometry, Audiometry, ECG and Vision screening Ear fit testing
- Work under the occupational health clinic TH manager and consult with on-site health & safety professionals
- Provide on-site care and case management for work and non-work related illnesses and injuries
- Support the development & implementation of health and wellbeing program elements
- Coordinate safe and efficient return to work, and ongoing monitoring of those on work restrictions
- Facilitate and participate in team meetings including case reviews, weekly huddle,etc.
Qualifications
What You Bring :
- Registered Nurse licensed, or eligible for registration in British Columbia
- Certified Audiometric Technician from an approved agency recognized in BC, or eligible to complete training
- Certified or recently experienced Spirometry Technician or eligible to complete training
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Occupational Health
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Additional Skills / attributes :
- Certification of Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA3) an asset
- Training in Drug and Alcohol testing an asset
- Experience in use of Cority Electronic Medical Record (EMR) an asset
