About the opportunity
As an integral part of the we can do that operation, this position is responsible to provide frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically :
- sell recommended and required vehicle repair / maintenance
- serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
- explain nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
- advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
- schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates / follow-ups
- accurately prepare repair orders and invoices
About you .
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including :
- 1 to 3 years proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales / Customer Service Representative; automotive and / or dealership experience preferred
- Secondary School diploma, or equivalent experience
- proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK / Reynolds)
- proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
- ability to sell vehicle maintenance
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- strong ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
