Junior Accountant

We are looking for a junior accountant to join our clients team. This role is perfect for someone looking for career growth, internal promotions and someone that wants to partake in new company projects and initiatives!

The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the client's projects, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant in Vancouver will be responsible for :

• GL account balance reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Clear accounts - sales tax receivables, sales A / R, and A / P payroll.
• Assist AP team with monthly Accounts Payables Duties
• Respond to inquiries from the Controller and Management regarding special reporting requests.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process.

Qualifications

The Junior Accountant in Vancouver will have :

• 2+ years of experience with full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
