Sr Cloud / Network Engineer - to design, manage and deploy network cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) following agile at our large financial client -
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure network architectures in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Implement and manage multi-cloud and hybrid connectivity solutions to ensure seamless integration and communication across different cloud platforms and on-premises data centers.
- Configure and manage cloud networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs, and Direct Connect / ExpressRoute.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, including latency, throughput, and reliability.
- Conduct regular network performance tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies.
- Work closely with cloud architects, developers, and security teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding network configurations and best practices.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance network performance and security.
- Participate in capacity planning and scaling of network infrastructure to meet growing demands.
Must Haves :
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing network infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms , including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking services and components, such as AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, GCP VPC, load balancers, firewalls, and DNS.
- 3+ years of experience in building and managing hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions, including VPNs, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and inter-cloud connectivity.
- 3+ years of experience in monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud network performance.
- Must have working experience with Cloud Native Networking technologies .
- Knowledgeable of cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Ability to participate in fast-paced Infrastructure Engineering teams within Scrum agile processes.
