Position : T&C Tester

Location : Ottawa ON Canada (Onsite)

Experience : 3Years

MandatoryExperience :

• 3 years experience in CBTCSystems Test and Verification or Commissioningenvironment.
• Background in software testing / ITV and engineering processes would be an asset
• Experience on the Ottawa LRT project (from other systems) would bean asset
• Working knowledge of CBTCproducts with respect to testing andcommissioning .
• Working knowledge of safety standards railway principles and practices requiredat project site .
• Experience intesting of CBTC train control systems (onboardand wayside)
• PC literate and use of wordprocessing spread sheet and scheduling softwarepackages.
• Fluency in English both written andverbal.

KeyContribution :

• Review and understand scope of test procedures
• Prepare for test shift in advance by optimizing testscenarios utilizing simulation environment
• Conduct commissioning tests on site with resourcesprovided as part of test shift (for onboard and wayside asneeded)
• Assist in problem solving andtroubleshooting during commissioning activities
• Document test results and update metrics accordingly toshow daily progress
• Document defects accordingto GTS change control process
• Assist inpreparation of test report for varioussystems / subsystems
• Participate in integrationactivity under supervision of T&C Lead / Manager
• Participate in commissioning strategy meetings led byT&C Lead / Manager
• Ensures the qualitysecurity and suitability of all work performed
