THE TEAM

The mission of the Accounting Department is to account for every financial transaction in the general ledger accurately and on time to enable informed decision making.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Accounting team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to join the team responsible for providing accurate, timely and relevant financial information to management and external stakeholders.

As the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in resolving complex accounting issues, manage all record keeping and financial master data, ensuring accurate accounting and high quality general ledger reporting.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will :

  • Asses and process complex financial transactions accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance in accordance with accounting policies
  • Ensure that Aritzia's accounting records are accurate and complete
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Govern the financial data that builds our financial reporting
  • Provide insightful analysis and reporting to executive management
  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Manager, Accounting has :

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and / or experience in Accounting, including a professional accounting designation
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION :

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
