Job Description
Texada is seeking our next Project Coordinator to join our Engineering PMO team. In this position, you will be working in a fast-paced environment to help lead and assist with internal project management for product and engineering initiatives.
This position will be focused on project management, risk management, application / product delivery, issue tracking and support of our application engineering team(s).
Strategic Value
The expertise of the Project Coordinator will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed within the guidelines of our SDLC process, are in scope, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
Work Location and Travel
This position is remote / hybrid. Our home office is located in Mississauga, ON. Although there are no regular office days, you may be required to attend occasional meetings in person.
How You Will Be Contributing
- Help manage moderately complex product and engineering initiatives through our SDLC from engineering discovery to production deployment.
- Help facilitate sprint planning of product features to create the most efficient burndown and execution of priorities.
- Proactively identify and communicate project risks, proposing mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues to senior team members and stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure clear follow-up of action items.
- Operate as a strong team player who takes the initiative to support the team in delivery of new product and application features.

- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably within a software or technology environment.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
