SUMMARY

The Accounting / Reporting Assistant reports to the RP1 Procurement Manager and provides support in areas of procurement including but not limited to : Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Financial Due Diligence, process compliance and governance, purchasing card and vendor compliance.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligence checks where and when required
  • Facilitate Financial Due Diligence Perform FDD on potential new vendors on a where and when required basis Perform FDD on existing new vendors annually
  • Prepare savings Glidepath spreadsheet from procurement logs
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to track and report RP1 vendor compliance.
  • Assistance in responding to inquiries from vendors / Procurement regarding vendor compliance
  • MERX Admin support Reporting for RP1 dashboard Vendor modification User additions / inactivation’s
  • Dashboard provide support to prepare and distribute RP1 dashboard KPI
  • Coordinate Purchasing Cards for RP1 account; maintain cardholder profiles
  • Complete audit on Purchasing Card activity
  • Responsible for responding to inquiries made by internal and external stakeholders, including Facility Managers, Financial Controllers, Sourcing managers and vendors.
  • Support the RP1 Procurement Manager with ongoing Audits of the Procurement process(es)
  • Support the RP1 Procurement Manager as and when required
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL

  • College diploma in business or other relevant program
  • 1 3 years related experience
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Oracle application is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French) is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task under deadline pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
