Job Title : Sales Account Executive

Location : Halifax Regional Municipality

Our client is a leading provider of custom window treatments, specializing in interior blinds and exterior roll shutters.

The team takes great pride in delivering exceptional quality and personalized service to both residential and commercial clients.

Opportunity Overview : On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Executive. This role is focused on business development for commercial clients, while also managing and nurturing leads for residential clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a strong understanding of the window treatment industry, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and target potential commercial clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the commercial sector.
  • Manage and follow up on residential leads provided by the company, ensuring a high conversion rate.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their window treatment requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Executive or similar role, preferably in the window treatment or related industry.
  • Strong business development skills with a focus on commercial clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
