Job Summary

As a Data Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient management of data across various projects while collaborating closely with teams to meet project deadlines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements. Design, build, modify, and test data models and database management systems that align with project goals and organizational needs;
- Create and implement comprehensive data administration policies, standards, and models. Ensure that these policies meet security requirements and promote efficient data management;
- Develop and enforce procedures governing network and internet database access, usage policies, and security protocols. Oversee data backup and recovery processes to ensure the protection of critical information;
- Conduct research on database management tools and provide expert advice to other information systems and informatics professionals on data collection, accessibility, security, and the application of management tools;
- Operate database management systems to analyze large data sets, perform data mining analysis, and provide actionable insights that support business decision-making;
- Write and maintain scripts for stored procedures, triggers, and other database-related tasks to streamline data operations and enhance system performance;
- Lead and coordinate project teams, setting deadlines and ensuring that project outcomes meet both quality and budgetary constraints;
- Oversee the development and implementation of data policies within client projects;
- Supervise and guide teams of data administrators, fostering collaboration and ensuring the consistent implementation of data models and standards across various projects;
- Other duties as required.
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline is required;
- At least two (2) years of experience in data management, database architecture, or data administration is required;
- Demonstrated knowledge in scripting, stored procedures, and database triggers;
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to lead within a team-based environment.
