About the Role
We are seeking a results driven IT Business Analyst to support the transition of cybersecurity operations to a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) . This role will play a critical part in planning executing and stabilizing the migration of operational security capabilities while ensuring continuity compliance and alignment with organizational risk posture.
You will act as a bridge between Cybersecurity IT Operations and MSSP vendors translating business and security objectives into clear actionable requirements to enable a smooth and controlled transition.
Key Responsibilities Requirements Management
Lead elicitation analysis documentation and validation of functional and non functional security requirements
Develop current state and future state security service models including workflows roles and responsibilities
Maintain end to end requirements traceability from discovery through transition and stabilization
MSSP Transition & Vendor Enablement
Support vendor onboarding offboarding and service transitions while maintaining security controls
Define service scope escalation paths SLAs and operational dependencies
Identify transition risks gaps and dependencies and support mitigation planning
Security Standards & Procedures
Develop and maintain security standards procedures and operational playbooks
Translate regulatory policy and risk requirements into actionable operational guidance
Service Governance & Contract Alignment
Translate contractual MSSP obligations into operational requirements and deliverables
Support governance reporting and stakeholder communications throughout the transition
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Produce high quality documentation including requirements process flows standards and transition artifacts
Maintain traceability between requirements security controls and vendor deliverables
Support post transition stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives

Support of UAT deployment and post implementation activities
Qualifications
5 years of IT Business Analyst experience on complex initiatives
Experience supporting cybersecurity or security operations programs
Strong analytical problem solving and documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Experience with Managed Security Service Providers is an asset
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CIS or similar is an asset
CBAP or ECBA certification is considered an advantage
