The Muslim Food Bank & Community Services Society (MFBCS) is a compassionate and dedicated charitable organization striving to alleviate food insecurity and broader social determinants of health.

Since 2010, we have worked tirelessly to empower individuals through our ASPIRE programs, encompassing case management, counselling, education, and more.

We are searching for a passionate Regional Manager to lead our efforts in Ontario, propelling us toward a world driven by compassion and mutual aid.

Role Snapshot :

As a Regional Manager, you will champion our mission in Ontario, managing outreach activities, developing strategic partnerships, and spearheading fundraising efforts.

This role is pivotal in nurturing our donor relationships and expanding our impactful programs.

What You Will Do :

  • Lead Fundraising Initiatives : Drive financial support efforts, coordinating with donors and spearheading fundraising events.
  • Volunteer Engagement : Recruit, train, and inspire a diverse volunteer team, providing leadership and resources to bolster our outreach efforts.
  • Build Partnerships : Forge and enhance partnerships with local mosques, Islamic organizations, and community groups to amplify our reach and effectiveness.
  • Program Reporting and Management : Monitor and report on program progress, adapt strategies to meet community needs, and act as the regional voice in public and media engagements.

What You Bring :

  • Educational Background : A Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Non-Profit Management, or related fields.
  • Experience : Proven leadership in a non-profit setting, with a strong record in fundraising, volunteer management, and community service.
  • Skills : Excellent in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership, with outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Personal Traits : A leader of integrity and fairness, compassionate, proactive, and responsive to community needs.
