HEABC has a temporary opening for a Compensation and Classifications Advisor (one year maternity leave coverage). Reporting to the Senior Director, Compensation and Classification Services, the Compensation and Classifications Advisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with HEABC member employer organizations in the effective provision of compensation and classification services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate compensation and classifications knowledge to provide advice on compensation frameworks and classification systems which contribute to the attraction and retention of health care staff and build on HEABC’s reputation as a strategic partner in health human resources and labour relations.
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field supplemented with five (5) to seven (7) years of recent, related experience.

In determining salary, HEABC considers many factors including the successful candidate’s skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The final salary offer will be at HEABC’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
