High School Teacher (Early Childhood, Education, and Services)

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS :

Teach high school students the Early Childhood, Education, and Services course. It is a specialized course for high school students with career interests in early childhood education and services.

Endorsement requirements include Early Childhood Special Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Work & Family Studies Occupational, Child Care Occupations, Early Childhood for 3- & 4-Year-Olds, or Early / Primary Education PreK-3.

Master of Education Degree preferred to teach dual enrollment. Performs complex professional work, providing teaching and / or training services to students in general instruction or in a specialized subject or assigned group of subjects;

motivates students to develop skills in assigned subject matters; performs related work as required; works with general supervision.

Limited supervision may be exercised over assigned paraprofessionals.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :

Effective Date : 2024-2025 School Year

Salary : Commensurate with qualifications and experience
