Roofing Administrator

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Roofing Administrator to support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC ( Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6 ), reporting to the Roofing Operations Manager.

Day in the Life

• Administrator of department invoices
• Assists with material lists and shop drawings etc. to start submittal package
• LEED Package (If specified)
• QA / QC Package (If specified)
• Updates the department project Schedule
• Relays job details to the safety coordinator to obtain the project safety binder
• Generates and submits WCB Notice of Project
• Assists with ordering materials and supplies as per job requirements
• Assists in Coordinating the logistics and movement of all materials, rentals, and equipment
• Tracks status of all purchased goods (delivery dates, issues / risks, etc.)
• High volume file management, ensuring files are complete, all authorizations and information is present for work completed
• Assist PM and ensures change orders are properly documented
• Provides project crew lists to the safety, customers, and manufacturers by on a daily basis
• Maintains physical and electronic files and / or organizational systems and archives documents
• Coordinates with Superintendents and Foremen the allocation of all roofing department trucks, tracks their whereabouts by maintaining the sign in / out sheet
• Generates Flynn Store tickets when required
• Assists in maintaining the crew list and ensuring training is up to date
• Provides support to the team on daily basis with requests as required via company cell phone, email etc.
• Other administrative duties, as required
