They provide a variety of services (both commercial andresidential) and have built a reputation for their dedication todelivering quality projects safely on time and on budget.

With avariety of projects underway including several custom and specsingle family homes multifamily townhouses and apartments andcommercial and design build projects they are looking to expandtheir Project Managementteam.

Theyare currently looking to add a Project Manager to their growingteam. As the successful candidate you will utilize a strongattention to detail and high level of accuracy to execute projectsfrom estimate to closeout.

Your organization strategic leadershipand team management skills will assist you to initiate monitor anddeliver project plans with minimal supervision.

Reporting to thePresident and working in collaboration with other Project Managersyou will be responsible for meeting the project goals in terms ofbudgets timelines customer communication and customer satisfaction.

As ahighly organized individual you can seamlessly multitask as youmanage multiple projects at one time solve problems creatively andbuild a cohesive projectteam.

Responsibilities :

• Manageand oversee electrical projects from start to finish ensuring thateach project is completed on time and within budget bycollaborating with the project lead clients contractors andvendors;
• Meetwith contractors and stakeholders to effectively communicate thescope of project budgets progress performance andcloseouts;
• Developand manage projectschedules;
• Collaboratewith the management team to coordinate and schedule projects withcustomers field techs suppliers and other teammembers;
• Workwith the project lead to identify all operation aspects of the jobincluding labor equipment consumables and materials along with anysubcontractor requirements with attention to budgetarylimitations;
• Maintainproject timelines and ensure timely completion oftasks;
• Managechanges to project scope through a defined change managementprocess;
• Createand submit RFIs asrequired;
• Trackproject expenses and maintain project budgets including monthlyprogress invoices forprojects;
• Evaluateproject progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholdersincluding contracts change orders and projectreports;
• Identifypossible cost saving opportunities and / or risk items that willoccur;
• Collectand analyze project data to track progress and identify areas forimprovement;
• Promotea safe working culture on sites by enforcing safety regulationswork performance standards rules and workingconditions;
• Buildand maintain good relationships withsuppliers;
• Attendsite meetings as required including trademeetings;
• Participatein sales and business development by identifying potential projectopportunities and newclients;
• Conductrisk assessments and implement risk managementstrategies;
• Facilitateeffective communication among project team members andstakeholders;
• Otherduties and responsibilities asrequired.

Requirements

• RedSeal Electrician with fieldexperience;
• FieldSafety Representative Class B orA;
• Minimum5 years experience in electrical project management or constructionleadership preferably in the constructionindustry;
• Strongknowledge of electrical systems andcodes;
• Proficiencyin project management software and tools including Microsoft Officesuite;
• Experiencewith Accubid estimating program or similar is considered anasset;
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
• Highlyorganized with the ability to multitask and manage several projectsat once;
• Exceptionaltime management skills to meet projectdeadlines;
• Strongproblemsolving and decisionmakingabilities;
• Strongattention to detail;
• Abilityto work effectively both independently and as part of ateam;
• Experienceworking with engineers and architects with a complete understandingof interior and exterior renovations is considered an asset.

Weanticipate offering the successful candidate a base salary ofapproximately $85000 to $120000 dependent upon previous experienceand organizationalsuccess.
