Qualifications
- Must be a current member in good standings with CMRITO.
- Member of the CAMRT / OAMRS preferred.
- Current BCLS Heartsaver certificate preferred.
- Successful completion of Contrast Injection Course preferred.
- Ability to exercise good judgement and application of technical factors when assessing patient capabilities and limitations.
- Ensures Professionalism in the provision of timely, accurate and precise Diagnostic Imaging procedures and quality patient care while ensuring all abnormal and urgent cases are handled in an expedited process.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
- Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non-imaging and patient care applications.
- Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards / following the College Standards of Practice.
- Ability to assist in invasive / special procedures.
- Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Ability to work independently and be an integral part of the Diagnostic Imaging team.
- Demonstration of strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Utilizes effective listening skills to maximize understanding of issues.
- Communicates effectively using timely, appropriate written, verbal and non-verbal means.
- Demonstrates commitment to professional development and learning.
- Proven attendance and punctuality record.
