Job Summary :

We in search of a Senior Water Resources Engineer to fill a very important strategic role for our prestigious Civil Consulting client.

The successful candidate will be working on land development and municipal infrastructure projects within the province of British Columbia.

Must Have :

• Civil Engineering degree or related field with minimum 8 years of industry experience;
• Eligible to register as a Professional Engineer ( P.Eng. ) with EGBC;
• Skilled with AutoCAD , Civil3D , ArcGIS and water modelling software ( PCSWMM , HEC-RAS etc.);
• Experience performing hydrological and hydraulic analysis, and modelling;

Nice to have :

• Project management experience;
• Experience with infrastructure master planning

Responsibilities :

• Perform urban water, sanitary and drainage system modelling, including data management, model setup and calibration, and system assessment;
• Lead the development of Infrastructure servicing plans for subdivisions, neighbourhood and city-wide areas;
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling and lead the development of Integrated Stormwater Management Plans and Flood Management Plans;
• Develop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designs;
• Lead technical analysis in support Civil engineering design associated with municipal water, sanitary sewer, drainage conveyance works and hydraulic structures;
• Prepare construction cost estimates, implementation plan and operation and maintenance manuals;
• Write and review of technical reports.
• Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; assistance with proposal preparation; coordination with sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, scheduling and other project management tasks.
