In this context, Educators is looking ahead to an exciting future in the rapidly changing world of financial planning and asset management and is seeking its next President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization forward in fulfilling its impact-driven mandate.
Reporting to a Board of Directors, the CEO builds organizational excellence through governance and management action, providing strategic, financial, operational, risk management, and administrative leadership to the work of Educators.
As head of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the CEO leads a team of motivated and highly accomplished professionals, fostering a collaborative and proactive culture that encourages innovative thinking and a growth mindset.
The CEO will empower the team to develop and deliver high-quality investing and lending solutions that will expand the use of Educators’ services and its customer base.
The new CEO will identify long-term goals and position Educators to respond to the changing financial needs of members of the education profession across Ontario and will lead the organization as it expands.
As an ideal candidate, you possess natural leadership, communication, negotiation, mediation, and facilitation skills. You offer Educators a bold vision and the energy required to achieve its mandate, along with a profound grasp of the financial services industry.
Recognizing the value that effective marketing and sales principles can bring to an organization like Educators, you continuously seek to develop innovative strategies to increase client retention rates and grow the customer base.
Comfortable being the "face" of Educators, you are personable, a clear communicator, and naturally energetic in cultivating relationships with partners, intuitively fostering crucial connections.
You understand the transformative potential of technology in advancing the organization's mission and have experience leveraging IT transformation processes.
Your experience in a comparable member-centric organization would be an asset, as would your familiarity with the regulatory environment in which Educators operates, and your bilingualism.
Lastly, you have an appreciation for and insight into the unique needs of the education profession, its staff, and their families.
