We are seeking a certified Early Childhood Educator who is not only passionate about working with young children but also possesses a fun, eager-to-learn and compassionate attitude.
As a valued member of our Montessori team, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in your care to grow, learn, and develop their full potential.
Responsibilities :
- Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and express themselves.
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and areas that require additional support or intervention.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication, sharing updates on children's development and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Continuously seek professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and trends in early childhood education.
- Participate in staff meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions to contribute to the overall growth and improvement of the program.
Required Skills
Qualifications :
- Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification, Level 3.
- Passion for working with young children and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and connect with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creativity and enthusiasm in planning and delivering educational activities that are both educational and enjoyable for children.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education and Early Learning Child Care Act Regulations.
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of each child in the classroom.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to support children's social and emotional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification required.
- CRC / VSC required.
