General Warehouse Associate Full Time (Fri to Sun 5:00am to 5:30pm)
Job Description :
In this role you will be responsible for performing the necessary job tasks and activities assigned to process the flow of goods through the Direct Fulfillment Center (DFC).
- These processes are varied and may include, but are not limited to;
- Receiving of goods
- Unloading of trucks, trailers and containers and palletizing of inbound and outbound goods
- Order picking, packing, and processing
- Lift truck, stock picker and floor sweeper operation (dependent on tasks assigned)
- Loading of products
General Warehouse associates will be responsible for meeting / exceeding performance requirements in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
Knowledge / Experience Required :
- Previous Distribution / Transportation experience is an asset.
- Experience operating a forklift or electric pallet jack is an asset.
- WMS RF experience is an asset
- Able to move and / or lift 50-70 pounds
- Ability to work well with others in a group and foster a team climate
