Mailroom Clerk - 1 Month Contract
Job Description
Our client in the Non-Profit space is hiring for a mail clerk to support their team on a 1 month contract. This contract does have the possibility to be extended.
This contract is working full time onsite near Yonge / Bloor
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working with courier services.
Responsibilities :
- Manage requests through our ticket system.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and faxes promptly.
- Arrange pickups and track packages with Canada Post and couriers.
- Receive and process requests through our ticket system.
- Communicate with internal clients regarding printing needs.
- Operate printing and finishing equipment.
- Coordinate pickup and distribution of printed materials.
- Arrange for routine maintenance and technical support.
- Provide regular reports to supervisors.
- Manage special orders and handle invoices.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
- Assist colleagues and visitors at the production center.
- Help with catering and meeting room setups.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with courier services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a clerical setting
